This poem is something amazing, but especially the last few lines. A truly beautiful piece that describes that 'butterfly' feeling and each word you use is so deep and adds an extra layer to this already wonderful piece. I always love when people use butterflies in poetry but this is one of the best ones I've seen!

WOW! What an amazing review!!! Thank you so much, it is so appreciated., Best, B
Butterflies are free, but a kind hand reaching out...makes it worth giving up that freedom and finding
compromise and love in flying together.
I have found that total strangers might give us more of a reason to smile than those who are
so close to us...like family or those we think are friends but then find out they derive from a hornet's nest with the purpose of stinging our hearts, causing us pain.

Strong, specific words, without frills but - sighs to accept, wonder at then, move onwards to the next mystery. A day can hold mystery and learning wrapped in the desire to not merely look but SEE and - even more, FEEL. Your writing takes a theme, takes it to heart, sees the truth in it. Shows amazing skill.
Thank you for sharing, Betty. Keep safe, take care.

Returned to edit such a rambling review, so very sorry for that, Betty. x
My love of poetry results from my love of art. As a painter I am able to express myself on a canvas. As a poet my words come from my heart, my moods, sometimes sad, mostly upbeat. I like to use vivid .. more..
