Illusion, clown’s guise

cadmium red ball nose,

colossal painted smile

titanium white teeth

life, heaps of fun

becloud my face

my tenure is done

It does seem that they all have a dual life clowns, stand up comedians, talk show host etc. Freddie Prince, Robin Williams on and on. I’m one of those people who freak out around clowns, it’s the whole serial killer thing. I did love this piece though, well done

Clowns, comics always make others laugh, while often they are tragic figures on their own...sad inside.

You nailed this one J... I always thought , even as a kid , what Kay behind that fake smile face; and I saw it every year when Barnum and Bailey Circus came to NY.. I love your interpretation!
