VEIL OF HOPE

VEIL OF HOPE

A Poem by Betty Hermelee

VEIL OF HOPE

Breathe, for we are swept

Into a wave of freedom

Close to a calm sea

A shear veil of hope

we sense a new dawn

Our mourning expires

We spiral, sturdy

With confidence and spirit

Which flows deep inside

(A shear veil of hope we sense a new dawn Our mourning expires) Such beautiful hope in these lines of a better tomorrow. Since the death of my only son in 2011 it seems as though I have lost all hope of a better tomorrow. ~Sharon

I’m so sorry for your loss; maybe there is a glimmer of hope for all of us, warm regards, Betty
This says so much.
I love how the sea isn't so raging anymore.
This too is passing. ❤
#hope
Without hope darling, what do we have?

Why did I just hear that muse song play? The one that goes, "Its a new dawn, a new day a new life, and I'm fee-ee-ling good 😊
I'm surprised that there isn't a review from a candy floss headed oompa loompa below saying" FAKE NEWS! " now that twitter etc have shut him up 😊

Hopefully, wouldn’t it be great to be “normal” again! Thanks for reading Jacob, yours, B
Indeed, after every darkness comes a dawn. But we have come through one damned long night.
