CERULEAN BLUEA Poem by Betty HermeleePanoramasFleeting scenes of lowlands alongside the I-95 South rivers of marsh grass unfold into the bays of shallow dark green wash against the cerulean blue sky Whiffs of salt blend with acrid odors of paper mills miles away loaded logging lorries hog the byways, trudge along to the smoke chocked factories Pancake blurry panoramas stretch to the horizon where the sun settles in advance of its rest for the night
