What a delightful little poem this is. Sensual and filled with anticipation. Reminds me dear Betty of many, many moons ago. I admire what you have portrayed here and done so well. Now that has put some warmth into the cold air. Great senryus.

A foray into innocence, always pleasant, Betty. A smile-worthy summer rerun for everyone. Blind love is one of the few places in life where even almost is delightful. You regale with moments of love, rendered in purity, simplicity, and naivete that scream eloquence and profundity. Another well done. -- Doug

Wow Doug! What a great review !thank you from the bottom of my hear, always,Betty
First, you create the scene; then, you pull us in with you, into your irresistible imagery, making it as though we are experiencing all with its sensually warm, sweet delight into the night.
There is no doubt you understand that love needs no sight, because in all its glory it's essence lies in what is felt and shared between two playfully, immersed and inspired souls.
For all the difference it makes in the sensation and enthrallment of tender moments, your verses are actually Senryu (human), rather than Haiku (nature) … but, who's complaining, eh? ; )
Eloquently laid, Dear Poetess, with such a romantic picture to set the perfect scene … I love it! ⁓ Richard 🍃

You're welcome, Betty,
You make poetry a delightful joy. : )
Ah, fumbling in the dark, anticipating the map of sensuality.
High peaks, low peaks, getting lost in fun.
This will be happening during the day now. Small consolation to the grim news we hear, but still a consolation.
Betty, not only well crafted and delivered haiku, but scenes we can imagine, perhaps two lying together in the dark, touching and doing all the fun and silly things lovers do. Another remarkable work.
I love your depiction of love's intimacies as being quirky & lively. Each poem stands well alone & the trio makes a great flow of imagery for all the senses. This is as far as one can get from the predictable junk I hate to see in many love poems! *smile* And yet you present simple recognizable fondnesses! Fondly, Margie

My love of poetry results from my love of art. As a painter I am able to express myself on a canvas. As a poet my words come from my heart, my moods, sometimes sad, mostly upbeat. I like to use vivid .. more..
