A Poem by Sadie Cahill
"

It was something that I just made for fun, some random thoughts. Someone suggested that I should finish it, and thus here it is.

"

Flame,

Kindles my heart,

Like an ember in dying light.

Wind,

Blows my soul,

Taking me to places I've never seen.

Earth,

Holds me down,

A mortal curse.

Water,

Washes my sadness,

Dousing the Fire.

Dream,

An Illusion

Of what wasn't there.

Thank goodness for water, it replenishes you and can help you last longer. I might argue whether or not longevity is found in it.

Beautiful depth. So much emotion in a few words!
