Enchanted Dewinged Angel

Enchanted Dewinged Angel

A Poem by Beth
"

The Angel with no wings.

"
She stood there delicately
Looking down at what I am compared to her beautiful self.
The stubs of were her wings once were remain
Love had enchanted her into a trap
The world was mostly filled with bad souls she told me
I looked into her knowing eyes
She looked at me and said "Never let love fool you,"
I closed my worn eyes and thought to myself,
Who would do such a thing,
to once and always a beautiful creature?
