DesiresA Poem by Deepika
Trapped in the blobs of the body's scarlet- Our “Urges” cross the boundaries of all planets! Luring as the dreams of the silent night, Demanding diligence that doesn't always work right! Plotting secretly, leaving the mood at plight, Not sure if they could be ever witnessed by the sight..
Delightful fare forbidden on the daily diet, As the mind is conscious of the escalating weight! Unruly eyes giving birth to the desire-sprout, Cut 'em off as you've a budget that's way too tight! Charming girl that looks alluring and bright, Concealing ego that says time is not just right!
Someday your weight doesn't really fright, But you might have no teeth that was once white! Someday the money would not be a matter of constraint, But the thing you desired for, could be out of date! Someday you'd find yourself as Mr.Perfect, But You'd be left in a state of a snapped kite!
