Colors

Colors

A Chapter by Deepika
"

Every Color has its own charm, In Harmony they make our eyes warm!

"

As green as grass , as blue as the clear sky, as black as the charcoal, as red as bloodColors not only triumph at bringing substantial smile on our faces, but also act as similies to paint the words! Thanks to our rodes and cones for giving us the most significant pleasure of the world, the sense of Colors ! Colors represent the ardour of life if Grey is to be taken as a metaphor for dull existence. While in the television culture, the black and white scenes supercede the past, we are brought back to the present with the flashed Color sequels.

Colors have been inspiration for poets and writers since ages; be the element of interest in its rarest form like the Rainbows, or in the purest form -Milk. While Colors continue playing one of their primary roles of brightening the artist’s canvas, it also takes pride in delegating the human emotions"say ‘in blue’ signifies melancholy, Green -Jealousy, White- fear etc.

Though chemeleons are qualified as 'specialized’ lizards for their ability to change Colors, they are also scapegoated by epitomizing a two faced individual. Hard to rationalize, but the Colors could incubate a struggle within humans in the form of racial war, while plainly the cause was to be attributed to the melanin an individual’s skin bore. Significance of Colors is much greater than the permutations of Colors possible with 7 primary shades. We are in the century where the Colors of the vegetables or fruits are not merely used to indicate the essential vitamins, but also to evoke a sensation at our taste buds. Yes! With a rare neurological condition called synesthesia one can feel the Colors at the tip of his tongue.

While combination of Colors can go to the extent of representing a nation’s flag and arousing respect in hearts of its fellow citizens, a slight yellow tinged nail and eye combination could create panic of jaundice in the person’s heart even without doctor’s scrutiny. While Color stands out as an evidence for litmus tests, they blend together to produce the phenomena of Aurora Borealis at the Earth poles.

Since most our ability to appreciate the nature and its graphics is assigned to our eyes, as the saying goes ‘beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’, the true essence of this radiant universe could be felt if the resolution of our eyes succeeds in creating a Color ful image that’s worth registering in one’s mind!
