Other Side of the Tracks

Other Side of the Tracks

A Poem by Miles Wilburn

On the other side of the tracks you see yourself as you should
All the mistakes you made, and you'd fix them if you could
But you gotta crawl before you walk
And you gotta speak before you can talk

But sometimes we get a little daring
And sometimes its a little bit scary

But..

The life we live is full of whispers and shouts,
Of misspoken words, and heads full of doubts.
But the beauty in people is also their plight
But don't give up, don't give up the fight
And you will find peace
And you'll get a good night sleep.
