If Only

What I wish for sometimes

If only my heart could radiate and attract
A woman that could just tell me that she truly loved me back.
Not immediately I mean, my motive's pure I swear
love is to be cultured, nurtured, built with years, and care.

If only time could simply stop when one opens their heart.
Then it wouldn't hurt so much when it all just fell apart.
We watch as the foundation crumbles, memories set ablaze.
We watch it fall onto itself, and then relive it everyday.

I don't see why no one has reviewed this yet, of the 3 people before me who have already looked at this piece. It is very beautifully written and the rhyme in the poem has a great flow. Great write! I really liked it!
