HesistantA Poem by Miles WilburnDoing things a different way.
For far too long I've lived this way
I played this game, and sang that song. I sang your way and not my own, and regretted always being alone. But now I'm lost on what I want Dragging my feet and shuffling my step. But now I'm lost on what I need, wanting to live, but not wanting to die. I've wasted so much time, fighting deep inside. Now, I haven't got much will enough to try But inside there is a fire, still burning that is mine. © 2011 Miles Wilburn |
