hopeA Poem by Bennyboy
In a house lies a room
inside this room holds an almighty secrete the secrete has no judgement the room is all colours the room is loud as if someone was in there ? a figure appears in the corner of the rooms darkest but yet colourful place *I ask how did you get here* no reply only the sound of heavy breathing surrounds my air I feel startled but also having this weird fascinating of this strange figure *I need to know!* I take one subtle step towards the dark corner before i can take another step a sound of a crying baby creeps up on me I feel introverted screaming at the back off my mind but I need to stay composed for fear of loosing my sanity i reply by saying *who are you?* the hermaphrodite doesn't reply the eyes open up to a colour on the retina which i can not resemble as a colour the colour does no exist the colour is a mixture of hell and heaven the eyes are attached to my body like flies caught in a web i am stuck i can not move my eyes begin to close i stutter help the the rest is a mystery i wake up in my bed feeling extremely cold i clench my pillow as if it was the last movement i will ever make a again my eyes feeling heavy my vision is becoming distorted my hearing is blocked by hands on my ears I look up ever so slowly only to see a light of serenity above me i give myself to the light I start to levitate from the bed to the ceiling before i reach the ceiling inches away from a single finger touch away i go crashing down into my bed like a comet destroying planets the bed swallows me whole I vanish down a wormhole of vibrant wacky colours I reach a point in the wormhole where I can place my feet onto some kind of floor i open my eyes i am back into the room with the same figure which is no longer in the corner the figure has moved into breathing distance of myself. © 2014 Bennyboy |
