The Quiet to your Crazy.

I’m handcuffed by my past the same way I’m imprisoned by my thoughts.

I'm yelling at someone who only deserves my silence.

I’m trying to numb the feeling of sadness while convincing myself it’s love. 

And I put up with it all because for some reason I just wanted to be the peace to your chaos.

But it turns out you can be everything that someone needs until they stop needing it.

It is a shame that often we don't realize until it's too late that the pain we endure isn't necessary. We must cull our courage and say to ourselves, "I am worth much more than this! You seem to abide the numbness because it gives you some sense of peace in your chaotic life. A very thoughtful write.
