Supernatural Delight

Supernatural Delight

A Poem by BenightedWhispers
"

Moon motherly godess...Creatures with fur, claws, teeth...blood...sad ending

"

Everyone loves to dance and question,

But can they fathom why we dance?

Can they comply that it has no power?

Dancing in the moonlight at midnight hour.

Look at the blood red moon so high in the sky.

Boy how we wish we could fly.

Fly and land on a sea of stars.

Talk to our mother and our lover.

Everyone loves to dance in the rain,

But nothing beats moonlight dance.

As we earn supernatural delight,

Our mother grows stronger.

We bite and scratch and deliver.

We kill and scream mother’s name.

We live and die for her.

She gives us life and eloquence.

We sing to her power.

Her light shines upon us

Like a heavenly gown from above.

We are alive once again.

"Out! Deliver! Bring over!"

We hear you mother and obey.

You lock your windows and doors.

You pray you will be spared.

Mother calls to us once again.

She’s growing weak with anguish.

"Mother! Don’t leave us!

Your sons and daughters will deliver."

So we hunt and feast on the red liquid of life.

Our mother ceasing to exist soon.

Her once gorgeous red luminescence,

Has grown cold and jet black.

We feel ourselves weakening

As you rise against us.

Our final cry of mercy grew deaf to your ears.

We lay deformed at your feet as our mother

Just fades away. Werewolves…..
