One thousand years.

One thousand years.

A Poem by Filipino Corazon

How could I ever love another?

If each and every second that you are gone,

Seems like a thousand years,

All of loneliness and self-reflection,

I've surrounded myself with friends,

To keep me busy and yet here I lie,

Pushing them all away and alone on my bed,

Waiting,

Unmoving,

Do you miss me?

Do you love me still?

Do I matter?

What's my purpose for being here now that you're gone?

Filling my head with these thoughts,

I cry.

As I scream out one thousand words,

Each phrase of infatuation,

While tears slid down my cheek as if they were on a sled down a hill,

Now I will wait a thousand years for you to come back to me.

Sorry.

I like it.It's not easy to let go someone you love especially if you had good memories together.
