A Poem by Ben

What you've seen to
what you call you've decided on
what is certain
what is taken for granted and presumed
what is permeant
you wanted only to be unmovable
wanted to be respected by knowing it all
only to be witty and knowledgeable enough
wanted to not be impressable, not be influenceable
and you've got that which you've prioritize now
who could force you to tear out the heart of what and how you operate now
your construct and the configuration mental
match the real world, construct out there up with what you think it is
recategorized recatalogue all you think of everything, or at least tease around the notion thereof
humor indulge it oblige it just a bit
Just enough, and then the living can commence, the dancing, the loving, the wondering and friends
and bbqs and fishing
Then, soon, the joy, the happiness, the hope
Then, the re-opened door of wonder intellectual weight loss challenge
battling like the dickinson's shelly's nietzsche's woolf's, seneca's epictetus's montaigne's
with strong arms, with awe at the amazingness of the prospect and of beautiful and of the most discoverable, locatable intelligence, become the worlds strongest person,
But someday, that might not seem all that worth it.
So what else is there to do,
live the best life
forgive yourself for everything you're able, you've already done, and don't forgive yourself for any single thing in the future, remain vigilant,
but not too much so that you don't live today jimi style
time goes by, and how did i manage my time
surely half or nearly the whole world is a scam
i give my time for money, and my money sometimes for more time,
I cant account for why, or what i spend all the rest on even
But i know what i want, and i know what feels right
I know that learning requires humbleness, because it requires some self-doubt or open-mindedness to errors and corrections that don't always come pleasantly and welcomely,
it is like this because the mental life requires sincerity,
and wisdom also, however, requires laughing at this very notion,as well.
So, haha
