Welling

Welling

A Poem by Ben

Hide, meet
Second-glance at ancient concrete

Every move careful
like I might betray something I don't want to of myself
Or maybe I turn that stumble into a funny dance, maybe the adrenaline of the fall picks me back up

Ownership, what a b***h
talk me up, to be x y z

figuratively
its just a bunch of s**t, ain't it
thought id class this bit up with some demonstration of some f*****g vernacular
some transient use of language poured down I was born in this year you the next and each one and month and day backing up running forward into another, continuous blob really of just people some forseeing, many more doing something like that, maybe involving financializing slow gritty progress

But I don't know
