Hinging On

Hinging On

A Poem by Ben

And by removing one part, the massive machine, in its entirety, crumbled
Kidding who,
That you'd ever remove it..
Landing in a crater, enter planet
A will estranged from its petty squabbling, busy-body jostle
When ideas become seriously real, reality begets belonging
Stockholm syndrome gets interrupted and reformulated
An ongoing act, where in with certainty things in some groups or whatever category are
actively correlated back to and on towards themselves and other things
Throughout, every day could be hunted out some secret name by which we could playfully call it special
More than a two-day gathering, a parade that went somewhere
This massive part, to be human, that says look how human I am, so I can reap that benefit to lord over you
The massive, lion and sheep game, tug of war, charge up the bull and pull the red cape away, again infinity amore
You rape and pillage what it means to be human, disgusted over the sea I swim in, you can sell that too
You know we respect and hate you at the same time, you know that universal game of how each of us lies differently
This massive lie that keeps us from being else
