Anti-mindful Cornucopia

Anti-mindful Cornucopia

A Poem by Ben

Ideally the undertaking, relegation

piety of everyday obligatory obliviousness

would lead to a cornucopia of unconscious goods

letting nature take its course daring not to touch the fire of sure

and it may have worked if nobody wanted sincere access

The way you re-assure me is getting old

the promises have lost all prospect of taste

Because the carrot moves ahead of me, until it is moved in front of the next one

and my arrogant ego of my state, enables this

I'm my own worst enemy

And hey, I'm used to my body's weight and impurity

and my souls colossal weight and blindness

but what should be fortified, what Houdinied
