Run With MeA Poem by Ben Barton
Take my hand, just one last time
And we'll commit the perfect crime Escape under a twilight sky Is this really do or die? 100 years will come and go I'll still run with you in tow Through mountains high and valleys low There's no-one else I'd rather know The sun is high, our shadows long There's no telling where time's gone So listen for the starter's gun Drop your head and start to run We'll find the house I built for you Just after you said "I do" Tell it once and tell it true You love me and I love you They told us to let it be "Time will tell, just wait and see" We always said that we'd be free So take my hand and run with me
