Silent

Silent

A Poem by Ben Barton

You were not made to be silent
Despite what the world
The darkness
Even your own heart might say
You were made for war
So raise up your battle cry
And dare the world
The darkness
Even your own heart
To try and silence you again

This is probably one of my favourite pieces that I've written, mainly because it's so pertinent to me and the journey I've walked through. Let me know what you think!
