Joie-De-Vivre

Joie-De-Vivre

A Poem by Bennett
"

Summer blues or monsoon dews, the yearning brews amidst the queues.

"

Awaiting in the queue, to reach out to the stew,
I chanced upon you.
"Allow me to serve you" echoed around few,
She rolled her eyes, and nearly dropped the fries.
Gushed with joy, I marveled upon the ploy.
Banters were exchanged, laughter eyed new range,

and we embraced a seamless change.
Glancing through the murk, she spoke about her work, raise & bow,
And I expressed my extolment, and how

Dining al-fresco, I slurped away to glory over her enchanting story.

Only to reckon, that I beckon this fellowship with love, a cherished token.
