On Cloud Nine!

Discovering the Tipping Points, that life takes you through.

When it seems that you are on cloud nine,
life begins to flutter and shine.
A belief that you are part of a fairy tale
sense of accomplishment & pride that's hard to scale

You, then experience a sudden cloud burst,
ThE glorious flying colors, gets immersed,
Into a pool of dusk, murk and darkness.
Tables turn around and you are subjected to starkness

The pillar of hope, standing tall, is pulled down,
and perhaps, it is the final countdown.
Dreams fall apart and beliefs are scattered, 
The cornerstone of life, has now shattered.

An urge for redemption arises,
failing to stand life’s cruel disguises.
Rejection and alienation forms the identity,
In all desperation, you cry out loud for serenity

But you still hold the ground with grit and courage
Fighting all odds and breaking this cage.
Envisioning a future, bright and glee,
which will once again breathe life into thee.

A day will come when your hope will rise,
the era of isolation will eventually demise.
You will climb the ladder where ecstasy and you combine
and stand where you eternally desired, on cloud nine.
