Life is HardA Poem by Lauren RiddickLife can be overwhelming sometimes
Life can be such a bummer, no one really knows what the future can hold.
We can't control destiny, but we can control what we do in this world that's so cold. Not ever have we really took the time to realize the gold that we have. The gold that's our love, our family, our friends, our life. We take this one life for granted when we could be climbing great heights. Now flip your one life into something you always wanted it to be, because after your time is up you can't go back, you'll see. You'll find that things we thought were important were minor, and how we neglected the ones that made our lives finer. We have all the time in the world but we don't realize it yet, but now is the time to take a chance and you'll shine onto others, I bet. Once we leave this earth, we ask one question: "How did I make a difference in the world, what did I do?" On Judgement Day you can know exactly what you did and who you did it for, and I'll change too. I don't like the moody person I've become, so world with you I won't make a change alone. Tell someone you love them, make mend with the one's you don't adore, because one day you want to walk through that Golden Door. © 2012 Lauren RiddickAuthor's Note
