Summer Please Don't Go Away

This poem is about how kids like me love summer and don't want it to go away

The pencils, the books, the teachers

I'm not ready for them yet

Just let me have another day

So I can run and play

Summer please don't go away

I'll miss you so much

I'll be stuck inside a building for 7 hours

When I could be at the beach playing in the sand

Oh summer please don't go away

I want to keep going to the beach

I want to keep going to the pool

But I want in for summer not to go away

I made this one up at the top of my head so it's not the best. But I hope you like it!
