![]() New RoadsA Poem by A. Kim Spradling![]() Life is filled with many roads![]() The known unspoken. A dream still broken. Time tried to heal The wound so real. A world now stable. Your memories, a fable. No feelings to block. No excitement to lock. A new road to travel. Nothing left to unravel. When. The door is opened just a bit, Enough room for hope to fit. Why open the door with No feelings to explore? Is it a shame, To play the game? Where to go? A chance or blow? A new road to head? Filled with dread. Then. Why suffer the wonder! Feelings torn asunder? Not knowing why, A time to do or die. Cast away silly pride. Nothing left to hide. Telling in the written word, That which is no longer blurred. A new road, I dare? Possibilities to share? Now. Waiting to see, If WE could be. About to give up hope. Can one ever cope? The door opens wide. Filling warmth inside. A hand to grasp. I reach to clasp. A new road combined. Two are aligned. © 2018 A. Kim SpradlingReviews
