No mere mortal So full of trust Can fight the hurt Of bended lust.
A life rebuilt Now riddled with doubt. Unfaithful deeds led to An emotional drought.
Mistrust is high. Picking tales apart Because of lies to A once whole heart.
Now…
Wading in The shallow tide, Not ready for The deeper ride.
A fresh new start, Clouded by the dust. Where do I find This thing called trust?
