Joan of Ark

Joan of Ark

A Poem by Janna Ruusuvuori
"

A pirate sea shanty fit for a crew of a flying ship.

"
I ain't going to breed a brood for you
I've got better things to do
My life is just for me that's just how it will be
So if you want a babe go find another maid

This world we have build is a castle on silt
With rules made by heards smelling like turds
There is no sense at all by those on the wall
So I'm finding a band of pirates on the shores of the land

And I am the Joan born in blood and dark
With black cold sorrow in my heart
And I'm on a journey to find the flying ark
The mages left behind hidden in code and art

And this dame ain't gonna love you
She just might well leave you
So you had better be safe and sound
On your own holy ground

She ain't going to hold your hand
Nor wipe your sweaty brow
She'll push you on past midnight
With her thunder fright and might

So with some luck
You just might survive
The fight she'll put you through
Because she will love you and finally leave you
For that is all she can do

About
A rose blood red with black thorns grow in a tower turning the hour; the waves flow as the tune follow the path of pan's pipes. The map is in pieces with many a creases, folding the love within; like .. more..
