Non AnswersA Story by Koda
To say "yes", is a struggle. You wouldn't believe me if I told you though. Sure I will say, "fine, okay and sure." But none of those are a "yes". Can you remember the last time I said "yes" to you? Probably not.
To say "yes", means you have complete confidence in what you're about to do or are agreeing too. To say "yes", means you 100% believe in your capability of achieving what you're trying to do or say. To say "yes", you can't go back on your word. I can't always say "no". "No" means there's a chance of "disappointment", "anger", "frusteration", and or "sadness". All in which can have bad outcomes. So I say "yes" because it's easier, not because I like it but because I am more afraid to say "no". So that no matter the consequence I can and will take it, even if it hurts me. There is a consequence for everything, most times more bad than good. If it was good it wouldn't be consider a consequence then would it, just an achievement? And well I haven't achieved anything other than being a terrible girlfriend, a bad daughter, and just about everything else too. So I'll stick with the "maybes", "sures", and "fines", because non answers are better than definite ones. You can't be scared to fail if success wasn't an option anyway. © 2018 Koda |
