Facing A Bullet

Facing A Bullet

A Poem by Koda

I look through my lenses
Adjust them so they're better
Turn colour into shade
Sometimes it's better that way

It's focused to not
A hit of a button
It's done

To develop such a pretty picture
A dark room, some red light
Let it sit, till it shows through
Let it hang to dry
Take it down when it's ready

Pictures may not be always to their standard
Everyone's opinion is different
But in this Picture there's a hole of a gun
Pointing at the camera
I remembered the strangers word
It was all too familiar

Russian roulette is a pricey game
Take the shot or dye trying
I must of lived to have this picture
Does that mean the strangers not
I don't remember

I know I woke up in pain
A nightmare I never wanted
And in all truth
I had to close my eyes
I couldn't stand to look at the pain and fear she suffered
It was the only chance I had

I'm sorry....Goodnight

About
Never think just once. Read twice. And always be optimistic. There's always a bigger picture. Maybe this one has more colour. Just picture a rainbow. You might see something a little differen.. more..
