Two Ivory Hearts

Two Ivory Hearts

A Poem by Bella
"

A potential story..

"
Two ivory hearts against charcoal scars,
whilst they have swords and piercing knives,
two genders and a delicate distance, further than mars,
only our eyes can pierce their lives.

Oblivious of the next second with a mind filled with words,
oblivious of each other's arms,
a runaway train and skin trapping nerves,
two types of fear: violence and your palms.

A moment ago she needed to catch her breath,
now she reaches out to a fallen eagle,
what a waste, if this golden soul should approach death,
these two hearts are equal.

A moment ago, he was fighting to stay,
now he reaches out to her hand,
what a waste, skin glowing like the sunlight's favourite ray,
the two hearts are aren't yet beating on land.
