Mary JaneA Poem by BellaUnder the influence of cannabis and a broken heart. No criticism for my personal preferences pleaseRejection already buried as Mary Jane enlightens me, glad that you drew a blank, what happened again? no more suspicion, I would never plea, I have my own empire to obtain. I don't mind if you forget me, I don't mind if I was temporary, as long as I don't forget myself, all is well, smoking Mary Jane as I wonder if hell is actually merry, relieved that I never dwell. If you return, I'll remind myself that you will never learn, and although I am fond of you, I never mourn, look at all these eyes on us, all these hearts to burn, ganja looking more appealing whilst I'm torn. Melodies blocking thoughts, grass greener than the beauty of medusa, a discreet goddess drifting away, no hesitation nor nostalgia, I can't remember those piercing eyes nor swish steps that would save the day. © 2015 Bella |
