This Child of Mine

This Child of Mine

A Poem by Lindsey
"

I was just huming this over and over in my head with a few of the first few words and eventualy it formed into this amazing piece...well, I think its pretty amazing...Cheers.

"

This child of mine

This child of mine walks the earth

This child of mine

This child of mine walks the dirt and flowers beneath her feet

She roams beneath the tallest greens

Cry does she as does the wind

Song of her blazes like the flame within her

Fierce and strong as the river she follows

Sing this song

Become this song

Be this child

Devoured as gold

Salty like skin

Exotic like sin

Her eyes peel back the sky

Unravel brave heroes

Listen to her melody

Taste her lust within limbs

This child of mine

She wakes above the sky

And sleeps below the ground

This child of mine

This child of mine
