Best Friends For Life

a poem for my friend, Nicole. I never got to write her a poem, after she wrote me one, because I was so busy, but here it is! Enjoy!

 Best Friends,
They never leave.
They stick by you through thick and thin.
Even if their life's not going well,
They'll be there for you.
They'll tell you if somethings wrong,
and they'll listen.
They won't tell lies,
or ignore you.
They'll be the best friends anyone could ever have.
It took me a while to figure all that out,
but then I realized that I had the best friends anyone could ever ask for, right there in front of me.
And that's all I need to get through life.
