Celebrities

I hope you guys like it! =D

Celebrities.

We all love them,

but do they give a crap about us?

We all pay $20 to watch them at the movies,

but would they pay to watch us if we were in their place?

I'm sure a lot of people have crushes on celebrities,

and there's nothing wrong with that.

But I'm pretty sure they'd never date a person in lower class.

They only date fellow celebrities.

Look at Brad and Angelina.

They were both celebrities before they got married.

There's nothing wrong with being a celebrity,

but I'm sure we'd all love it if they figured out

that they're just regular people like us.

I have NOTHING against celebrities, but I had a run in with one, a few days ago in a resturant, and they weren't very poilite (is that how you spell it?) So, please tell me what you think. I'd really like some critisism on this. and please ignore mistakes. thanks! =D

Wow.. you are so right.. however I can see things on both sides.. celebrities are constantly being picked on even by so called fans. Ordinary people have the joy and freedom to be themselves at the end of the workday and go where ever they like.. celebrities do not have that freedom.. I know that is part of the parcel of their fame.. but I am quite certain they would like to just go out and eat dinner or go to a movie without being bothered. They probably wonder is so many people would bother them if they were not famous.. and if they were not famous prior to acting or singing realize the answer was "no" .. no one bothered them and sometimes even gave them a second glance. I think celebrities should have the freedom to do things without always being in the limelight.. and worst of all.. I think people should stop taking pictures of them in public without their consent... and selling those in so many cases.. I can say I have never desired to be famous... I need freedom. Love the rant.. I have dealt with a celebrity or 2 by phone.. they are busy people.. do not have time to fool around.. and probably expect the usual questions from the ordinary person.. like "OW WOW... I am your biggest fan.. there would definitely be days where they would like to crawl under a rock. Part of the draw to them is that upper lifestyle.. and of course we are not invited. Thank you so much for sharing.. sorry you had a bad experience.. some celebrities are nice about it .. some are not. .. just like ordinary people! =)

Well you are right that they are people like us but it is the media's constant coverage that makes them think they are above everyone else. I think there are a few celebs that remain down to earth but for the most part they are ego inflated by so many putting them on pedestals, a great rant indeed.
