A Little Bit Longer

a short poem, which will hopefully be better than the other short poems I've been writing, posting, then deleting. Enjoy! =D

We always said that we'd always be friends,

and it's still true today.

But what would happen if we wanted more?

Would it work?

Or have we been friends too long?

It might screw everything up,

but it couldn't hurt to try,

right?

If we only had a little bit longer,

everything might be work out,

but we don't have enough time,

to work out all the problems,

in a few years,

I'll be gone.

There won't be anymore time,

so can't we try to be together,

instead of saying "A little bit longer"
