To Me, You Are Perfect

To Me, You Are Perfect

A Story by Dorian Gray
"

It doesn't matter if she feels the same way. All that matters is that I love her, and now is the time to be honest.

"
Suddenly I find myself standing outside her door. I don’t know how my feet led me here, but I think it's faith. I’ve thought about her in secret, and it’s finally time to tell her what I really feel. After all, if you can’t be honest on Christmas, when can you be honest? With a stumbling step, and a breath caught in my throat, I gather up the courage. I knock twice.

She opens the door and I hold my heart scribbled on a piece of paper. Her smile is hesitant, but it’s there, and that’s all that matters.

“To me, you are perfect.”

I love this, and if I'm making a correct presumption, is this based on that wonderful scene in Love Actually? This is great, especially the comparison between love and faith. Congrats!
