The tears we shed

The tears we shed for the ones we lost

are a constant reminder of the pain we suffer

and the pain we suffer reminds us that we will never be the same

 

We go throught everyday trying to cope with it

but theres always something that reminds us of them

and we can't help but cry

 

These tears will not stop

our hearts forever broken

 

They take them away to punish them

but there only punishing us

 

For everday we must live a life without them

a fate worse than death

for our hearts remains empty

 

Unable to be filled

for fear of love

cause fear of loss

 

We are children who will never be able to give someone our hearts

because was born with them already broken

This poem has great potential! I would suggest that you change it to read in the singular throughout the poem...The tears I shed for the one I lost, etc., etc. and then when you finish, it's a good idea to read before posting so you can catch any words left out, etc. Thanks for sharing!
