Let Go

I thought it was suppose to be painful when you and your love were apart, but you taught that nothing about love is painful, because just cause your apart doesn't mean your not together. Your always in my heart.

The moon lights shinning in your eyes makes you more irresistible than ever

I don't want you to leave

because I'm afraid to let you go

 

Your hands in mine and

I never wanna let go

 

Its dark and scary outside

but your lying next to me so i feel safe

 

I never want you to let go

and now  know you won't

 

You've shown me what love is

and how it really makes a person feel

 

and when you leave it won't be sad because i can feel you with me

where ever I go

 

Beacuse you taught me

even we leave each other we never have to let go

This poem rings true for what sounds like true love.
And if two were meant for each other, but never meet, it is not true love after all.
And this poem reminds me that even if one, or the both can move on, and find real everyday love in reality,
they can still carry the memory of that great person who showed them what love really is,
and keep that person always in their heart.
But I get the feeling to do so, the person may never truly love again, especially is they'd always be thinking of the other, the one they had loved like no other, so intensely.
Interesting poem.
It surely gives everyone a chance at something special to think about.
