A Poem by BellaMac

I keep my covers with me were ever i may go

so i can cover up and the real me wont show

sometimes i wish i could rip the covers off and let you see

and then i remeber you might not exept the real me

so i keep my covers on till i find the right person

who will look at me and say

let me see, and rip the covers off for me

and then i will not fear the real me anymore

and i can run around freely not worrying about bring my covers with me to hide the real me.

Such a clear expression of the pain so many of us experience; hiding who are afraid that others will reject us and leave us alone... So well put and so beautifully done!
