at first, the poem (or i may call it a spell) seems to curse the lover. however, it impresses upon the latter as something to serve as a potion which is only palpable by the sensations of the heart itself, but not by the tongue. it finishes with a mystical line to allure the reader. sufficiently and curtly put indeed, though i'd like to read more of it.
