I love you

I love you

A Poem by Bella-Marie
"

I think you know I love you... smiles

"

I think you know I love you

I think you love me too

And as long as we're together

All our dreams will soon come true

But it's hard to know you love me

When you sigh and turn away

Yet bad thoughts are just nightmares

When your hands touch me that way

Then why are we so careful?

My impatience, a burning fire

I want to know if I'm alone

With this painful desire

To feel your kiss, to hug you

It would be but a sweet dream

To have your hand entwined with mine -

It's like a cat with cream

But sensibilty is the rule

I can't just go off wild

And though I have this Adult lust

I am still a teenage child

Sometimes, when I read a poem, I'm never quite sure my feelings about it until the end line. It's the end line (or two) that really need to be strong sometimes to carry a poem. This poem really has a great tie up. Very nice job!
