Darkness, shadow

Darkness, shadow

A Story by Bella-Marie
"

ohhhhh....

"

The darkness enveloped the sunlight, and soon the warmth was gone, chased by the snakes of cruel cold. I shivered, not sure if it was the chill of the night penetrating me... or something else.

Walking through the quiet streets, a dog howls, and in answer, a whisper is carried by the wind to the hound - whispers of pain and suffering.

I begin to run, feeling a stare upon me. My blood freezes in my veins as a reach an empty house at the end of the street.

Then, something smells my fear. I stiffen, and a hand touches me. Falling to the ground with terror, all I can see is an engulfing black, all I can smell is a sour reek, all I can hear is "Yes... you're next."
