The sun, the moon, you and me

The sun, the moon, you and me

A Poem by Bella-Marie
"

To contemplate

"

The sun shines

The moon shines

Your face shines

My face shines

The sun shines

It shines with warmth

With happiness

With joy

The sun shines

Because people are living

People are being

Born

Loved

Cared for

And life goes on

The moon shines

It shines with sadness

With pain

With suffering

The moon shines

Because people are dying

People are being

Hated

Hurt

Infected with germs

And life goes on

Your face shines

With intelligence

Beauty

Compassion

Youre face shines

Because you are

You are like the sun

You shine with happiness

Even though...

My face shines

It shines with tears

Tears I have shed

Tears I have suffered

Because I am

I am like the moon

I shine with sadness

Because you are dead.

Gone.

Poof.
