Teresa woke to Jack shaking her. She fell into his arms, grateful he found her. They hugged, and then looked deep into eachothers eyes.

"How did this happen?" Teresa asked. She felt full of sadness. It was eating her. She was huirt on an island somehwere... some place.

Jack ignored her. "Dawn is just breaking," he said hesitantly. This was true, Teresa realized, as she looked up at the sky. It was a pinky red, beautiful and serene. Then, she screamed as pain tore through her and a coconut fell ontop of her head.

Jack was struggling not to laugh, teresa could see, but he tended to her bump and told her that "it would clear up (gawaff gawaff) eventually (tee hee hee)." Teresa was over the happy moment minutes before, she tutted at her husband and turned around, facing the river.

"The water is cold," she said musingly, touching it, ripples forming around her fingers.

Jack came by her side. She sighed, and fell against him, tired and sick. She liked being with Jack again. She saw his hand move slightly - then she saw a strange man, and Teresa screamed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

A scream. It was loud, piercing and annoying. Henry woke from his sleep and scowled at the new day. It was going to be a toughie, Henry realized. But it didn't really bother him. He suddenly felt the urge to find that man who chopped off his leg.

Henry stood up and grabbed his crutches before setting off. He walked into the bush, and saw trees on either side of him. He liked the trees - they were beautiful, they settled him. Then, he heard the rush of water, and walked towards the source. There was a river! A freshwater river, sweet and fresh. Then, Henry saw the woman and the man, and he opened his mouth - but not before the lady screamed once more.

Jack turned, wondering why Teresa had screamed again. Then he saw the man - the man had makeshift crutches from strong branches, and was looking decidedly rattled.

"Shut it sister," the man snarled, "You ain't gonna get much outta me with that screech o' yours." Teresa looked baffled. The man drew himself up to full height, "I am Henry," the man (Henry) siad, "Henry Paffervot, and I am here to live - not to scream."

Teresa sat up. Jack was very confused. Teresa stood up slowly, staring at the other man with hatred. She really was pretty, Jack realized, and felt another surge of love for his wife.

"I'm Teresa Gootenbarg, wife of Jack, who is right here," Teresa said in her most menacing tone. Mr. Paffervot backed away, looking incredulous. "Oi!" he said finally, "You'd better talk nicely missy!"

"I'm Teresa," Teresa growled.

Mr. Paffervot swung his crutch around and got Teresa full in the face - Jack leapt up and pushed the one-legged Mr. Paffervot into the shallow river.
