God Forsaken HoleA Poem by Rik Bbecause no one cares about Earth anymoreGod Forsaken Hole
Don’t put me upon a pedestal; I am but just a man. I walk this earth like all the rest, I have no just plan. Time crawls with me and sometime I must drag it along, Life is fast, sometimes slow, but it’s never never wrong. As a man that is just, I have no power over you, I have no feelings, no caring, but I am just in what I do. ... Do not judge me for more than what this wicked life has made me. Yet, do not take for granite what your eyes truly see. I praise you for who you are and what you have tried to do, But this world is falling deep into an abyss and it’s basically through. There is nothing more that I can do with my mortal hand, For I am now just an ordinary, earthbound; mortal man. When times were going well, and life was free and gay, We all had a chance for a future and to live in a better day. But it’s been all thrown away, discarded, and man has torn the earth, And God has come to claim, that, for which he had given birth. I am a Man, a just man of God; put here to give you all hope, I tried with all my heart to change you, I through you a brand new rope. I gave my all, for I had a trust in you; I gave up my immortal soul. And now I will rot with the rest of you in this God forsaken hole.
