Angel Wings of BlackA Poem by Rik BBecause all angels deserve the gift of MusicI kneel before you, with your
just deserves, My Wings withered, on my last
reserves. I present to you this violin
true, So you can bring the angels out
of the blue. Some have lost the rhythm
within Some would call this a mortal
sin. Are feathers fall from loss
of song Only you can right this
wrong. Dressed in black, with black
wings spread, The loss of music we all
dread. Save us so that we may fly Know that without our music
we will die. Rebecca Tribe, will you give
us your soul, Bring us out of this black
hole. Take this violin true, Play
it with your heart, Cast a spell of beautiful
music, protect us from the dark. I kneel before you with this
gift in hand, Hoping that you will rock the
band. So you can put us back on
track And save the angels whose
wings are black. REB (FEB 2012) © 2012 Rik B |
