Swept By a Feeling of Déjà VuA Poem by xxxJxxxSometimes the feelings that are simply unexplained leave a great contradiction to realitySwept By a Feeling of Déjà Vu
Have I seen you
before? But I surely have! Somewhere, somehow! Oh this feeling I must have felt
before I must have! Somewhere, somehow Fascinatingly Unexplained Eerily recognizable Grippingly strange Confusingly Twisted Sometimes even
inspiring, Feelings of déjà vu It invites a surprise
guest, this eerie feeling, Joy with a sparkle of
regret Anger with a pinch of
pride Hope with a tug of remorse If Happiness is to sadness,
then Is Déjà vu to
alien?
Few are the moments Which it clings to Yet, everlasting is
the sense It leaves. Eagerly studying the
faces Alarmingly familiar
they seem Perhaps seen in a
dream? Maybe a different
life? A new perspective? A feeling so affective! A contradiction to
reality Yet ever so real! I’m left dreamy and
anxious, For today, I’m swept by a feeling
of déjà vu © 2013 xxxJxxx |
