Handprints

Handprints

A Poem by Behind blue eyes
"

A leaving gift for my sons teacher.

"

i got a second family

the day i walked in here

you've been my rock

my guiding light

ive learnt so much each year

you've left your handprint on my heart

and that will never fade

from you i've learnt that i am kind

and i am strong and brave

i know i can do anything

that i want to do

for when you taught me all i know

you left a piece of you

i am crying right now...i feel like this poem is for me.this is the most precious gift a teacher could ever receive, knowing that we've touched the hearts of our pupils and their parents (who are our partners in this endeavor)
thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.
